Download First Class into your home computer!

Instructions are below! Read them carefully!

Print these instructions first for ease of installation. Follow the instructions ALL the way to the last sentence-:)

Downloading the software is faster and easier to navigate than accessing First Class through the St. Mary's Webpage. To download the software, simply click on link below:

First Class Software download

and choose the version that is appropriate. Most of you will choose the US English V.9.106 (for Windows XP/2000/Vista) or Macintosh V.9.106. The next pop-up will ask you whether you want to "Run" or "Save" it. I recommend you "save" it to your "desktop". This download might take a few minutes...depending on your internet service provider. (Note: Spyware and viruses can cause errors in the download process. If you get an error message in the download...you will need to run spyware removal and/or scan your computer for viruses before you can correctly download the software).

After it has completed saving to your desktop, exit out of this website. Go to your computer's desktop and find the file called "FC9106US.exe". Double-click on it. Follow the instructions...clicking on "Run" or "Next" and "Yes" every time it asks. If it asks you for a User Name..you can use your own...with St. Mary's as the company name. Click on "Finish" when it is done. YOU ARE NOT DONE YET!!!!

Once installation is complete, a login menu should popup. When the login menu pops up, click on the "Advanced" button. Click on "Setup". Type in: www2.smeds.org in the server box (about 1/2 way down the form). You must be exact with this. All other settings should be ok. Click on Save. (Note: If you have a firewall installed, you will need to adjust the settings so that your firewall will allow your computer access to our First Class server).

If you have Brighthouse, Verizon, or another DSL provider...you are now ready to log in. If you have a dialup, you will need to login and have your internet running .. then minimize your screen and click on the FIrst Class icon.

Once installation is complete, you can delete the "FC9106US.exe" on your desktop.
