St. Mary's uses First Class for it's email service. You can access First Class above, but if you install the FirstClass client software, you will find that it is much easier to navigate.  To install the FirstClass client, click on the link below that says "First Class Software download".  Follow the instructions listed on this page ALL THE WAY to the end as there are server settings that need to be changed in order for First Class to work on your computer.

Page that has this at the top will appear.  Choose the version that is appropriate (Mac or Windows or Linux).

The next screen should include this at the top.  Only follow Step 1 which is to download.  Choose "Save" when the popup occurs and asks you whether to "Run" or "Save".  Note where you are saving the "FC9106US.exe" file to.  If possible, save to "Desktop".  Click on the "FC9106US.exe" and install the software.

The login menu should pop up automatically when the installation is complete.  If it doesn't, double-click on the First Class icon on your desktop.

Click on Advanced. Then click on Setup.

Type in:  www2.smeds.org in the server box.  Click on Save.  (Note:  If you have a firewall installed, you will need to adjust the settings so that your firewall will allow your computer access to our First Class server).  You  should now be able to log in using your User ID and password.
